Rick bought this Chevelle in July, 1980 for a purchase price of $1500. Originally, the car sported a Cortex Silver coat of paint. In 1985, the paint was stripped, the body massaged and then repainted a Medium Pewter Poly base coat/clear coat. The black interior was refurbished and the mechanicals were reconditioned.

Rick's Chevelle is equipped with some nice options such as: tinted windshield, Strato bucket seats, rear window defroster, center console, sport striping, sport steering wheel, heavy duty battery, performance suspension, head light washer, special instrumentation, AM/FM Radio, front/rear bumper guards, custom deluxe seat belts, auxiliary lighting, SS 396 equipment and an automatic trunk opener. Most recently, Rick has been detailing the undercarriage and engine compartment with the factory markings.

Ricks Chevelle was featured in the May '92 edition of the NCOA Chevelle Report and the January 1990 Super Chevy Magazine coverage of Maple Grove. Rick enjoys driving his Chevelle to area shows where he has won numerous trophies and plaques.
